Stay in a floating hut on Chua Lan Reservoir and National Park surrounded by rainforest-clad limestone cliffs. Kayak the twisting unexpected branches of the lake. Fish in its well-stocked waters. Swim right in front of your room. Take jungle walks to waterfalls and caves. Incredible wildlife (monkeys, elephants, wild boar, etc.) and scenery. Enjoy delicious and plentiful meals.

Chua Lan National Park is located only one hour's drive from Suratthani town. It consists of a mountain range and an enormous, winding lake. Our accomodation is bamboo huts floating on rafts on the lake. It is reached by a one-hour boatride, a short and easy 15 minute walk to the inner lake, and another boat-ride of 2 or 3 minutes.

This tour is not necessarily physically strenuous but some of the available hikes can be quite difficult. Please ask about the difficulty level of individual activities before setting off. The amenities are clean but primitive so be prepared to "rough it." Meals are served often and consist of mostly Thai food and lake fish. If you have special requests please let us know.
